The 2027 Precision Medicine World Conference (PMWC27) will be held in Silicon Valley’s Santa Clara January 27-29. Among the literally hundreds of world-class speakers will be Razelle Kurzrock, MD, Center Associate Director and Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Kurzrock is a board-certified medical oncologist and a renowned expert in precision medicine. She developed one of the world’s largest Phase I clinical trial programs while at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Kurzrock also founded UCSD’s Center for Personalized Cancer Therapy, focusing on genomically-driven therapy as well as precision immunotherapy, especially in rare cancers. Dr. Kurzrock brought the first transcriptomic study to the clinic in an international setting spanning five countries (WINTHER), as well as the first Nof1 study of individually customized combination therapy (IPREDICT). Dr. Kurzrock received her MD from the University of Toronto, Canada. She has 900 PubMed publications, an Hindex of 140, and has been named to the lists of most highly cited scientists in the world. She has a uniquely strong record of competitive funding with 100 million dollars in lifetime funding, and has overseen early development of multiple drugs that are now FDA approved. At PMWC 2027, she will speak in a session titled “From Blood to Drug: Liquid Biopsy for Therapy Selection.” You may register to attend this can’t miss PMWC conference here.
In a jam-packed 3-day program, Kurzock will be joined by myriad other top-flight scientist speakers, including four Nobel Laureates—David Baker, Emmanuelle Charpentier, Randy Schekman, and Thomas Südhof. A small sampling of the hundreds of other notable speakers includes Eric Lander, Mary-Claire King, Fei-Fei Li, Sarah Teichmann, Eric Horvitz, Daniel Drucker, Wendy Chung, Andrew Ng, Victor Velculescu, Fei Chen, Christina Curtis, Nir Barzilai, Charles Chiu, Christine Eng, Joseph DeRisi, George Church, Lee Hood, and Catriona Jamieson.
“PMWC has proven, time and time again, that it attracts thought leaders from all the relevant fields and catalyzes crucial collaboration through inspiring and practical program content,” commented Lee Hood. Again, you may register to attend this can’t miss conference here.
