Prevalence and Architecture of Severe Dominant Developmental Disorders Described in Morning Plenary on Last Day of World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics
JERUSALEM, NOVEMBER 3. The fifth and last day of the XXIV World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics in Jerusalem opened with a plenary address by Matthew Hurles, Ph.D., Leader of the Group on Genomic Mutation and Genetic Disease at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute (UK). Dr. Hurles’ talk was titled “The Prevalence and Architecture of Severe Dominant Development DIsorders” and focused on work done as part of the Deciphering Developmental Disorders (DDD) project, which Dr. Hurles leads. The five-day Congress ended with two concurrent science sessions; one on “The Developing Brain Developing Psychopathology” and the other on “Applying Neuroimaging and Neurocognitive Endophenotypes for Psychiatrioce Gene Discover.”
